Even softer one from Ali ! Awful shots from out of form and short of confidence players. As always seems the case, everything relies on Stokes ! Got to try and get near 300 but can't see it happening, this World Cup can't finish quickly enough for us.

Brilliant from Stokes and Woakes to get us up to 339 ! A cracking batting wicket on a smallish ground but you'd hope that would be enough. Of all players, Stokes deserves to be playing at the business end of a World Cup, shame the rest of the squad haven't turned up !
Root drops O'Dowd in 1st over off Woakes ! Buttler should really have been going for that. Alot of swing there for Woakes

Yep, trouble is so do they, they have to win to have any chance of getting into the Semi's !

Semi final against South Africa is better than I would've thought when this started months ago. Not convinced we are consistent enough - particularly our middle order - but now it's a bit of a lottery and if you've bought a ticket I suppose you're a chance. Come on you Aussies...
