Really could & should’ve won the first two matches & Ashes would’ve been over, but never mind it will make it interesting for remaining matches

Seems England are sticking with Bairstow as WK for Old Trafford. Can't help thinking this is a mistake. Picking him over Foakes was understandable for the first three Tests after his heroics last year, but he's kept very poorly and isn't scoring runs. It's not as if Foakes is a mug with the bat - he averages 32 in Tests.

l congratulate England for standing by fumble fingers, long may he continue!

Tight game at Bristol. England looking the goods atm. Aussies need 2 quick wickets, but Pommie captain taking the game away from us. :emoticon-0106-cryin ... Just for you Stainnsy. :emoticon-0105-wink:

England women beat the Aussies again !! Wow. Made it harder than it should've been with 5 dropped catches and a missed stumping but great stuff. Superb captains knock from Knight to see them home. The Ashes are alive I tell ya !!!!!

3-2 Engkand in games won, 3 on the trot. Shame about the Test match carrying double points. When was the last time the Aussie women lost 3 games in a row ?
:emoticon-0138-think Don't know and, really, don't care that much. I only post about the cricket to get a rise from you guys (above the belt, naturally!). A bit of give and take until the real games begin in August. All in good fun.
I can watch cricket when games are close and there's an eventual winner.
Otherwise, I'd rather watch a nice sunset on the beach after a long hot day, :emoticon-0157-sun: lie back on a deck chair, while a light warm breeze gently ruffles the hair, while I enjoy a light snack and a cool drink.

Aahh, only 3 more months 'til the heat returns to the antipodes. Can't wait.
At least there's the Championship returning soon. Then the fun really begins. :1980_boogie_down:

Well done to England again. Didn't see the game but sounds like another good contest. Good for our girls to get a reality check. Still think we're to good to lose both of the next 2, but you never know.

Good one Didley. Here are some stock emojis <laugh><laugh><laugh>
BTW, nice beach! :emoticon-0103-cool: Comes complete with around a dozen shark bait (the other white meat).

You seeing that our northern comrades. :emoticon-0132-envy:

Wait, ...you surfed at Byron Bay. That would explain your struggles to stand. :emoticon-0176-smoke

If anyone wants to know a bit more about Baz Macullum, have a look at the Netflix series he made quite recently with Phil Tufnell called This Could Go Anywhere. Phil and Baz do stupid things playing golf in New Zealand and have a bit of a giggle.

It’s pretty clear that the ‘approach’ is based on Baz’s own (self confessed) lack of a defensive game as a player, a wish to continue enjoying the game even after multiple failures (0,0, 0 and still wanting to bat) and a strong desire to have a laugh. Neat.

Tufnell looks like exhausting company mind.
