All good, mate.
I'm not one to bragged that we are the World Champions, l'll let the media do that.
Just looking forward to the Ashes and hope we can make a good account of ourselves.
One more thing Didley. If this was an actual mortal conflict, then I'd be the first to take Heller's view.
I'd get the fark right out of there.
So, we good mate? Hope so. :emoticon-0148-yes: :emoticon-0150-hands

My post wasn't meant to offend you, in case you took it that way. Just a play on words. <hug>
I'm just trying to stir up our pommie colleagues. Make the forthcoming Ashes a bit more interesting. And have fun at the same time.
I'm sure they're taking it the same way.
We're all QPR mad and whilst there's no football, you've gotta do something to make the interval a bit less bland.
Looking forward to seeing more posts from you as our boys come away with the Ashes. :emoticon-0125-mmm: :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Nah mate, all good.

I don't like we've left out Wood, with his extra pace he offers something different and something we might well need. Praying Jimmy doesn't break down again like 4 years ago !

Don’t think they’ve faced Robinson yet, he is good & will trouble the Aussies
Yep I like Robinson, hrs a quality bowler. He doesn't bowl at a fair rate of knots though and has had fitness issues in the past. Hopefully he can bowl more extended spells now if fitter. Just feel that's Wood's extra pace would've unsettled their batsmen especially if they get in.

Are we all ready then? Up for it?

Exciting stuff, Ricky Ponting reckons it’s the biggest series since 2005. And we have to remember the Aussies haven’t won here for 22 years……huge incentives for both teams, loads of ‘traditional’ quality in the Aussie team, box of fireworks (including potential damp squibs) in the English one.

Are we sitting comfortably? Then let’s begin……

Can't wait. Hard to pick a winner really, but I'll stick with 3-2 England.

Love the Ashes, can't wait.

If only we had Lillee & Thompson on board at present.
I saw them at their peak in 1975 at the SCG, absolutely loved it.

Ahhhh, those where the days ................ Thommo in full flight, bowling to keeper Alan Knott, Marsh behind stumps and Derek Underwood at the other end.

Ok,
Only just tuned in and saw that LBW ( which was originally given not out ) ...... but in truth, was plum.

l see England have a good score and weather the opening attack, kudos to you guys.

Aussies need a quick couple of wicket to slow things down a bit.
