They won't do it but if everyone is fit, I'd like to see us play an all seam attack against the Aussies. These 3 with either Wood or Archer and Stokes backing up. Leach just never fills me with the hope he's gonna do the biz against top class batsmen. With that pace attack we'd be constantly at them and with the added bonus of true pace thrown in.
Jimmy will come back and replace Broad at this end, if Stokes can get the ball out of his hand lol
It's such fun watching this England test team.
It's difficult at times to accept that they will only play this way, but **** me, so entertaining.
The Ashes will be wild, although again, we'll have to accept it when this attacking style backfires occasionally.

Yep agree totally. Come the Ashes Wood and Archer will be key ! Need both fit so we can alternate them without fearing injury. Robinson reminds me of Mcgrath, so metronomic, always on the money.
I'm really hopeful that Broad and Anderson will have a golden farewell in The Ashes.
If they're fit, I think they will. Broad loves bowling at home to them and Jimmy is just class. It's gonna seem unreal when they aren't about any more. They are both still so fit and hungry though , I wouldn't rule either out of going on for another year or 2. Being part of this current team, might just spur them on for a while yet !
Surprised Jimmy hasn't replaced Robinson for a couple of overs at the death, hope he hasn't picked up an injury. Only bowled 3 overs, seems strange
I hope they both play at some point, but we'll really need Archer and Wood if we're going to win.
Out and out pace will be important, but the swinging ball is what usually does for the Aussies over here.

Yeah, I meant we'll need them fit and available. One of Wood and Archer (preferably Archer) with Anderson and Robinson would be about right. Can't see Broad and Anderson playing together.
If he's fit Broad must play against them, when he gets on a roll he can run through teams. He loves bowling at the Aussies over here especially Warner !
