20,000 free tickets snapped up in an hour, perfect strategy for a session at most.

**** Lords.

When is the Oval test?

Edgbaston isn't far from you I believe?

Thought you may have snapped up a ticket?

I've changed all my plans for tomorrow morning.
Don't want to miss this.

Unfortunately I still have 20 working days to go until retirement (not that I’m counting…..) and no holiday left to burn. Only just found out that the pre season Rs tour is next week to Saxony, to play two German third tier teams, Zwickau and Hallescher. I’ve seen Zwickau and their ultras, Red Kaos, play just before lockdown at Karl Zeiss Jena. I’d love to be there, really like that part of the world.

Still, next year no restrictions for pre season tours and I might invest in a membership at Edgbaston, though as a born and bred Middlesex lad it will feel odd.

Ah, I mistakenly thought you'd already retired (like me ).

Yep, I'm a Middlesex lad too.

Have you gone to see any county cricket? I’m definitely going to spend a few days watching meaningless games in the sun……seems the epitome of retirement activity to me. Although I have insisted that if I show any interest in going on a cruise, especially a Viking River Cruise, I should be pushed over the side, it would be a mercy killing.

No I haven't.
Maybe I should.

I definitely want to get to a home ashes game.
Never been to one.

What a brilliant recovery from that dodgy period before and after tea.......

Just looked at my diary for tomorrow and oh joy no work planned:emoticon-0100-smile All I have to do is convince Mrs Trammers that I have something vital do do for a couple of hours from 10:30.........

They are probably thinking to try & knock these runs off before the 2nd new ball, that wouldn’t surprise me if they did
