86 runs in 2nd hour of that session......... makes a pleasant change from the normal 55/4 in a session
 
Am I to assume that it’s not a dud pitch then? Root and Stokes on form are top, top batsmen, but how does the bowling look?
 
Rather pleasing to see the scorecard reading batmen 3 - 5.........

Their bowling looks very average and the pitch looks like another pudding.

We'll do well to get 20 wickets on it.

We could possibly get 600 if we batted on, but we'll probably declare later this evening.
 
Another turd wicket, brilliant from Stokes and superb innings from Root and Lawrence in their own way. I know Lees innings was torturous to watch but in enabled Lawrence and Stokes to play in the way they did.
 
Some big turn for Permaul already to get Foakes and Leach stumped....... Leach should be rubbing his hands with glee..........
 
Fisher takes a wicket with his 2nd ball in Test cricket...........1st ball was dispatched for 4.......... 14/1
