Unusual conditions for the West Indies - a slow pitch and quite a lot of swing early on. Spinners on now, but not looking dangerous.

Could be a low-scoring game. If England can get to 300, they'll be doing OK.

When was the last time England posted 300 in an innings?
 
Just looked up Wisden out of interest...... During 2021 England passed 300+ on only 8 occasions from 32 innings in 16 tests played to the end of the Ashes series.....

Bairstow and Foakes look well set at the moment.......... Hope that's not commentators curse........167/5

Bairstow survives a caught behind on review........ no where near the bat so no idea what the Windies close fielders were appealing for.......
 
I see it’s on ****ing BT sport again, got rid & hate it, I would’ve thought Sky would have this as they lost out on the Ashes tests
