Loved Richie, and he and Arlott were the greatest cricket commentators ever. But nothing will ever beat Murray Walker saying the lead car is unique apart from the one behind it which is identical ! Sid Waddel came close a few times mind

l must admit, l liked Tony Greig as a commentator.
He would often start off with….”Right then, The Australians …….”

Has there ever been a more boring test than this, and has there ever been a worse test spin bowler them Leach ? Not counting Bess obviously. Wood has beaten the bat fir the 400th time this series and Root is getting thicker by each test, very generously bringing back Leach for 1 over before tea so Khawaja could get his ton in his first innings for 2 years ! The wicket is pathetic, more up and down bounce after 80 overs than what you usually get on a day 5 wicket. Australia to get bear 400, England to be booked out for 150. Rain to wash out day 4 then England bowled out for 110 on day 5. Thank god I don't have to watch any more of this dross, it's like watching a boxset of Casualty ffs

Why are you torturing yourself by watching it?

Do you expect anything different to happen?

You could just turn the TV off, throw the remote out the window, handcuff yourself to the bed and superglue your eyes shut.... et voila!! No more self-inflicted torture......sort of. :emoticon-0105-wink:
