Marvelous that!

'THE RICHIES' CODE OF CONDUCT
Speak into your microphone at all times

Keep your jacket, tie and wig on at all times

Don't complain about the heat (everyone is hot in a suit & wig)

Cheer great cricket from both teams!

No booing, No verbal abuse, No picking fights, No building cup snakes. You'll get ejected.

No skolling beers, No shoey's. Drink responsibly & sing in full voice to help support the Aussies.

Follow the directions of your Row Captain

Have fun with the opposition fans, In previous years the 'Swarmi Army', the 'Barmy Army' and other fans have been great fun. Let's keep it friendly. The fierce rivalries are on field.

Finally, ask yourself... What would Richie do?

That session was always going to be a nightmare for England's batters, so to escape with only two down (albeit thanks to the rain) isn't so bad really. Now all we have to do is bat all day tomorrow to save the follow-on!

What's the weather forecast like?

Today is overcast at present.

Right Eric, Aussie no doubt you'll enjoy the days play today. I look forward to waking up in about 9 hours time and hope that by some miracle England are still batting in there 1st innings........

Until the morrow........

Good start from Root and Malan this morning, 65-2 off 20. The Aussies are far less threatening without Cummins and Hazlewood..

I woke up early today (I don’t know why) and so far it’s been a good morning Root and Malan both past 50. Question is as I’m obviously a lucky charm do I need to wake up at 4.30 every day?

Try waking up to watch it at 4.30am on Monday morning, it will mean it's still going on and we'd still be in there fighting !

Good session & must admit I didn’t expect that when I woke up, but we know England too well regarding collapses & especially after a break, but let’s hope not
