Congratulations to the Aussies, they are one he'll of a team. Healey's innings was incredible and is the highest individual score in men's or women's World Cup finals. England's bowling was awful I'm afraid and to concede 120 runs in the last 8.4 overs was the nail in the coffin along with the costly drops of the openers. I couldn't understand the decision to bowl first and not bat on a fresh wicket and it proved a wrong decision. Sciver's innings was on a par with Healey's in my eyes considering she was chasing and it was a real shame 1 or 2 others couldn't have stayed in and supported her, she might just have got us there the way she was playing. The Aussies are miles ahead to be fair and the rest are playing catchup. Been an excellent tournament and women's cricket really is making giant strides. Roll on the mens World Cup and let's see if England can defend that one !

Getting a little concerned about 30 overs in and really glad that none of your batters could stay with Scivers. She hasn't got any Australian relatives has she?

Lol behave. Yeah she had some luck but what an innings ! It was over after we bowled those last 8 overs, 356 is a ridiculous score. I didn't expect us to get as close as we did, but Sciver's innings was immense. We don't have the same batting class in depth, Beaumont isn't good enough with her technique and Knight used up all her runs in the Ashes series. We have a great keeper but she doesn't score enough runs to bat at 5. Wyatt is a dasher but was due a low score, Dunkley is good and one fir the future , she'll be around for a good while. Trouble is when you have Brunt coming in at 7 your screwed, she's a number 9 in my eyes. Was a great final with incredible amount of runs, just shame it didn't go to a super over. We like those lol. We'll done !

Good advert for the women's game.
    Probably should have batted first.
Healy's innings was simply fantastic and Australia are the best side in the world.
Best batting side and definitely best fielding side.
Impossible score to chase down, but what a fantastic innings from Sciver. 148 not out and on the losing side.
Poor decisions from Jones and Dunkley, who should have stayed with her longer.
Dean looks a much better batter than any of those at 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Strange she came in at 10.

Aussies deserved winners and clearly the best team in the world by quite a margin.
