Ultimately looks like the two dropped catches are the difference. Surprised we got so close, brilliant innings from Bethell. Never thought we would quite get there, needed Jacks or Banton to stay in with Bethell. Brooks kept looking to play the same shot, and can't be even bothered mentioning the openers

Fantastic game, 499 in 40 overs!

A brilliant ton from Bethell (the future of English cricket) which wasn't quite enough in the end.

Brook's dropped catch decided the game.
