Crawley falls to Matt Henry for the 4th time this series..... he absolutely nails a half volley on his pads, but hits it straight to mid wicket......

Awful review by NZ, against Bethell.... thickest inside edge you'll ever see

Cracking morning for England..... 82/1at lunch, Duckett & Bethell looking set.....lead 237.....

England 82-1 at lunch, 237 ahead with NZ having batted once already. It's lunch on day two!

Carse and Atkinson looking good on the bowling front and they can both bat, which bodes well. Carse is the best number 10 batter England have had for a long time.

These two backing up Wood and Archer would be a formidable Ashes bowling line-up this time next year. Bring it on!

Hold on, there are three days still to go. Will we bat like nutters all day today and get a 1,000 run lead with two days to bowl them out?

100 for Root..... finally gone for 106 and England declare sitting NZ a whooping 583 to win......

59/4 at lunch.......

Think we might just win this.....

Right time for bed.....

Nice one England.

Also nice one to whoever decided to make the Test at Adelaide pink ball. Adelaide used to be the flattest of flat tracks, slow scoring draws the norm, but this made it fun for the quicks. Being an old git I don’t approve of how they have developed the Adelaide Oval, it used to be a lovely ground in a park with a lot of grass to lounge around on. Now this has been reduced to a strip of land while most of the ground is surrounded by very big stands, Shame.

True that, Adelaide ground was always regarded as a pretty suburban ground but as you say, its been commercialised.

Pleased for Pat Cummins, who got some ridiculous stick after the first Test based around the fact that he's an outspoken environmentalist.
