What on earth was Jimmy doing there ? Gone plumb Lbw leaving Root high and dry. 353 all out. Have to make the most of the new ball and make early inroads, and get Jaiswal early ffs
 
Got to say the wicket looked pretty decent in that first hour, with only a couple of balls keeping low. We need it to deteriorate quickly here and need to bowl well. Come on England, nip a few out early doors !

Also, I had a disturbed night, so put the cricket on and England had India completely under the cosh.
Robinson was playing well and Root looked secure. The Indians looked really down, so what do England do?
That's right.....throw away their last 3 wickets.
Robinson in particular was an idiot, playing that reverse sweep, when so well set.
They'll never learn.
 
Great stuff from Bashir, although he won't always get a wicket like this to bowl on.
We simply must get a lead of at least 100 now. Then we'll be right in the driving seat.
Let them creep up towards 300 and it's all to play for imo.
