Bloody hell, this wicket looks like a road, could be a batting paradise. Jimmy bowling beautifully though and goes past both openers outside edge and then pins Sharma on the crease but going over. Some serious bounce in the pitch. Root opening the bowling at the end a tad strange after Hartley's heroics in the last game, and has thrown down a few pies. 19-0 off 8 overs, we could do with getting a wicket or 2
 
40-0 after the 1st hour. We don't look like taking a wicket, only Anderson looked threatening at all. All looking very easy for them at the moment and the pitch looks like a belter. Could be a long day in the field !
 
Get in there !!! Bashir on debut has Sharma caught at leg slip. Brilliant field placement and bowling. Great stuff young man. 40-1

Hartley bowls an over of utter filth ! Wtf was that ? That was like him in the 1st innings of the last test, very strange after what he did in the 2nd innings. Gifted them 13 runs when we need to apply pressure on the new batsman.
 
Lucky ****er Jaiswal top edges a sweep just wide of the fielder off Bashir. Could've done with that going to hand, he's now on 35. Bashir bowling beautifully
 
Gill edges Anderson just past 1st slip for 4. Ffs we badly need a wicket. 89-1 and they are scoring at will now and getting the rub of the green

Lunch 103-2. Jaiswal 51 not out. I actually think we could've played another seamer here with Root bowling so much. Ahmed hasn't bowled a ball yet ! We need some quick wickets after lunch especially Jaiswal, who's already becoming a thorn in our side this series. Time for bed Zebedee

A few of the Indians got out to poor shots, so it could have been a lot worse. If we can keep them to around 400 we still have a chance.
 
Not too bad a day abd we kept at it importantly. Jaiswal is a superstar waiting to explode, we're gonna have to bat really well 1st innings cos the wicket is supposed to deteriorate pretty quickly
 
That could be a lot worse, we would have had well over 400 off 93 overs. Impossible to write this England team off until they are actually beaten.
 
**** me Jaiswal is a lucky bastard, Jimmy bowling beautifully again. Nips 2 past the outside edge then brings one back into him and hits him on the pad. Given not out but we review it, going over by an inch. Ffs we need some luck to go our way. Only Jimmy looking like taking a wicket at the moment

Jauswal hits Bashir for another 6. Time to get the young lad off and tie up Jaiswal before he smashes another 50-60 runs
