Good day for England, 126 ahead at close of play. Probably not enough to win here, but will set us up well for the rest of the series.
Magnificent innings from Pope, who played 72% of his shots off the front foot, the most he's ever played in his entire career ! If we could somehow manage another 100 runs then it's gane on even without a top class spinner. India still huge favourites but one never knows.

Windies defeat Aussies by 10 runs in the second test. Brilliant performance from them - a young team with some real talent. First win in Australia for them since 1997. Great result for them and for world cricket. Aussies however retain the trophy - again..
Yep. Even our spinners are getting a lot of turn on this wicket. It all hinges on whether they can put the ball in the right area consistently enough.
