167 runs in that session!! Aussies have no answer, sleeping Aussies on here are in for a shock Lol
Seem to remember them staying up half the night to wind us up.

I'm not. The way we've played since lunch makes an England win very possible, albeit we're unlikely to get it done in three days. So long as days 4 and 5 are not complete washouts, we've got a real chance here.
My brother reckons well bowl at the Aussies tonight for half a dozen overs……can’t see it myself
Nor can I, but you never know.
The Aussie over rate is criminally slow. Once again they will be fined their match fee and it won’t make any difference. England are no angels in this regard but much faster than the Aussies. They are slightly hampered by having about 5 players trying to change the field positions after every ball.Say there's another 30 overs bowled by 6:30 stumps, at 15 overs an hour going at around 6 an over would have us in the 430 - 450 range, a lead of around 130....... not sure that's enough for the declaration, but Skip knows best..........
C'mon England.......
Your forecast is dodgy unfortunately pal. Met office has some showers there tomorrow, Saturday very grim and Sunday persistent showers all day. I'm hoping the Met office forecast is very wrong !I was told that Saturday looks to be a wash out but should be ok for Sunday as no rain forecast till 6pm.
It’s written in the stars that there will be a day 4, ashes victory at The Oval.
Those who are there will be talking about it for years to come
