What I don’t get is the desire to kill anything or anyone in the name of anything.

I would say I hate these yanks that go trophy hunting killing species that are nearly extinct. I’d happily see the lot of them extinguished.

As for wanting to kill another human it’s repulsive, usually done in the name of an imaginary god.

You have no choice and are doing what you signed up for and have nothing but my upmost respect!!

Any ****er than stuck the uniform on and fought for this country has nothing but my respect.

I wanted to be fighter pilot when I was a teenager. Went for the interviews when I left school got offered an apprenticeship to go through sixth form but they wanted me to do a level physics and I spectacularly bombed out of it. Was the hardest most mind bending ****. Mate of mine had the same apprenticeship but with the navy. He got through and did ten years.

I do love cricket rivalry between the two. For me pakistan have produced some of the best bowlers to grace the planet. Indians some of the best batsmen. Just think if you were still one country. No one could beat you.

That’s actually quite an interesting observation that I’ve never really clocked before. Pakistan = lethal bowlers, India = majestic batsmen.

Pakistan like to chuck rockets, India like to bat them away with class.

ps. Saeed Anwar was a fantastic batsman who seems to have been almost entirely forgotten in recent years. I'd have had him in a world 11 for half a decade. What many of the Pakistani batmen lacked was mentality for the longer game - Youssef aside, who was also brilliant.

Inzamam Ul Haq was one of the greats. He could’ve been even better with a bit more professionalism (ie not being a fat lad).

I think India's problem has always been that they see themselves as the USA of the Indian subcontinent continent. The Is real of the Middle East...but Pakistan don't really give any ****s about that. It's a small nation prepared for the worst from the Bully neighbours...so they are always ready.

Been a bad week for India...had some Fighters downed...got invaded at the crack of dawn last week and now find themselves with their tail between their legs because the watching world has seen their aggressive behaviour.

In other words...they've been bowled out for a paltry score

Why not just be nice neighbours, huh?

Fat **** had more run outs than anyone else...what a player though...a natural

My favourite period was watching Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram take an end each with the new ball

I can't bring myself to include him as a) watching him try and run was embarassing b) I compare him to the India middle order of the time (Ganguly, Tendulkar, Dravid, VVS Laxman) and ask myself if he'd have got a game? Youssef would have got in there somewhere I think whereas Inzi I'm not convinced by. That said maybe that sort of competition for places would have had him sort himself out, he certainly should have been even better than he was - not that he was poor, he was very good.
