I've zero interest but have received this message from a friend who works for SAFC. He helps me, and therefore other supporters, with tickets, info, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Do u know of anyone with a membership at Durham (cricket)? I'm looking for a couple of members who aren't going to the England Australia 20/20 next year."
Think Cest is a member. I'm friends with him on FB. I'll ask him.

Never played but huge fan, probably prefer cricket to football in all honesty.

Get to a few Durham games every season, and was lucky enough to attend day 4 at Headingley.

Hate the idea of this hundred, it’s an absolute shambles and I hope it falls flat on its face. So much wrong with the whole idea

Whoever thought of the idea of getting a crisp and snack company to sponsor the teams was a genius, after all trying to get people to eat healthy isn't often in the news.

Whats next? Kebab shops sponsoring the ball?

Just another thing in a long list of why this whole idea is a joke.

How they can advertise it as being something to get more people involved whilst alienating whole regions of the country is beyond me. T20 attendances are consistently rising across the entire country, and we’ve just won the 50 over World Cup. Yet these are going to be pushed back to make way for 16.4 over a side games.

Stokes is never available to play for Durham, yet he’ll probably play more for the Northern Nik Naks than he has for the county which has invested so much time and money into making him one of the biggest stars in the world

Living in Somerset my closest game will be Cardiff or Southampton, which are both nightmares to get to.

The team is called Welsh fire or some ****, not even a reference to the South West. You would think the winners of the 1 day Cup and runners up in the county championship would have a bit of representation but not worthy according to the ecb

The double winner of the county championship and T20 aren’t represented. One team based in Wales is covering the entire south west. Durham’s closest ‘team’ is in Yorkshire. The England test captain who is as Yorkshire as can be without having a flat cap and whippet is playing from Nottingham.

The whole thing is a disgrace. Hopefully it lasts one year and is canned for being ****. I’ve seen nothing but negativity towards it on social media, but I’ve no doubt if tickets sales are poor the ECB will simply give tickets away to make it look a success

They will also point out its on free to air and how important that is while ignoring the main issues.

I can't believe they have made the 1 day Cup a reserve team game to shoe horn this in

The good thing about cricket fans is they never seem to cross the boundaries and are rarely stumped for an answer.

The Ashes series was gripping TV and radio and to have me, my dad and my 10 Year old son all sat round the TV engrossed in the World Cup final and jumping round like loons is a memory I won't forget
I have seen England win the Rugby and Cricket world cups. Both amazing feelings. Wondering if I’ll get to see us win the football one now!!!

Love five day tests, and the TV coverage, but it has never equaled the unforgettable test match specials on radio fronted by the one and only Jonners.
