the county season started this week.

most games had delayed starts, as per.

glamorgan's sam northeast, who scored a 410no in 2022, was the first to score a century in the new season, and he didn't stop there. playing against middlesex at lord's, glamorgan declared their first innings on 620/3 with northeast racking up another biggie - 335no. this narrowly beat graham gooch's 333 to become the highest individual score at lord's.
