Apparently they're known as Groodles, but I can't bring myself to use that term.

My wife, when asked, told someone that we had a Grundle. This, it turns out, is something else entirely.
Golden Doodle is what I heard for retriever/poodle cross. Ours is the trendy cockerpoo, which I’m not a fan of either, but the actual dogs are great.

Just seen the Root dismissal. Decent ball but far from unplayable.

Pope gone now too, edging a wide ball from the left-armer.

You didn't look up Grundle, did you?

Lawrence scores his first runs in England in Test cricket after surviving a big LBW shout.

Just focus for ****s sake.

The Gulf between county cricket & test cricket is very evident, scoring county runs against medium Pacers cant compair against test match hardened swing bowlers

A good innings by Lawrence, assisted by Stone and Wood, has got England out of the hole they'd dug for themselves. New Zealand's day, but if we can push on to something over 300, we're very much in the game.

Once upon a time Broad used to be able to bat a bit. One big century and 13 half centuries in Tests. He was almost an all rounder. What happened there?

He's got a highest test score of 169, but he got hit in the head a few years back and totally lost confidence. He doesn't even seem to try any more.

Well, we need a performance from him with the ball. I’m a few miles west of Edgbaston, and if it’s as overcast and humid there as it is here the ball should move plenty.

Plumb. Well done Broady.
