Last summer was a scorcher, with 30C days regularly.
This year has had very hot spells interspersed with a fair bit of rain.
Last week we had 38C!!!!

What happened to "old crooked finger" Billy Bowden.
Dropped from elite panel....incredible!!
 
Broad gets Warner in the second innings. A massive deflection off the bottom of the bat, but given not out by the on-field umpire. To be fair to him though, Broad didn't see it either.
 
What a good day's sport so far, Broad reaches 450 test wickets and Australia are currently -2 for 3.
 
England are really staring down the barrel here.
Could be batted out of the game by tea.
If the Aussies win at Edgebaston, the fortress for England, the series will be very hard to turn around.
Fearing the worst here.
