I can't believe the nonsense that is passing to a player 1 yard from you and him either:
A. passing it back when you're obviously offside
B. Turning and passing 40 yard backwards to a player on the half-way line
C. Losing possession immediately to someone who has tracked the run

Last season I distinctly remember Colo missing a couple of decent opportunities, and Saylor having chances as well... Am I just slipping into some deluded world where I'm inventing these chances in my mind, when in reality I've seen our team lost possession ages ago? If that's the case, I'm just staying there next time!

 

I couldn't have agreed less on this topic. Willo is ineffective at setpieces. How many times has it either been a)a foul b)header off target c)ball is cleared either by Willo or the defender

Willo can't direct his header. All he can do is get his head on the ball. And I absolutely hate that pointless set piece. We've ran it for over a year now and it has never worked. Yet, Pardew is going to run this stupid abomination of a setpiece until it works, just to prove that it works. Willo has had every single set piece aimed at him for months and all he's managed is 1 header on target last year, and we are claiming he's a threat already? Bravo!
