Whelpdales injury sounds nasty, studded in the ball sack and split open, ouch , that is real bad, hope he is going to be ok, but not going to say hope he feels ok now as we know that will hurt.

Not a bad year really, one of our best years away from home, need to end it on a high at Dag and red.

OK Lawrence needleesly gave away a penalty - but went on to have a great game - and made amends with a super goal line clearance in injury time.

Luke looked a little rusty. He did provide the pass to send Kuffour on his run for his 2nd goal ( contender for goal of the season.) Rooney's 2nd card was very similar to quite a few he's picked up.
I'm afraid to say that, yet again Fish was not up to the mark. His distribution was particulary poor.
It was good to see the Gills come from behind to win - but they could have made it more comfortable long before the end - although they could have been helped by a penalty denied in the first minute ( Kedwell was almost strangled before being bundled.)
I was a little surprised to hear Hess giving so much praise to Crawley (post match interview) - because they didn't look anything special - and played a lot of hoof ball to deserve to be top of the league.I may be biased but I thought Gills had as much (if not more) quality. Gills can still go on to win this division.

Thanks for that input. I have to rely on what I hear unfortunately as I am away. So post match impressions help a great deal.

Great result, can anyone who was at the game shed any light on their managers comments about the behaviour of our bench? You do get the impression from the interview (on the BBC site) that he is just a bad loser, as the best team lost etc...interesting that Hess bigged his team up afterwards making him looking an even bigger fool, but comments like; there will be parties in Gillingham tonight and they celebrated like that they had won the world cup just make him look stupid. Winning matches in any league at the league leaders are generally celebrated by players, managers and fans alike, lets hope we can keep our run going and perhaps he comes to Priestfield we can celebrate like we have won the world cup again!

Couldn't see because I was on the same side of the pitch as the dug outs. I think it might be that their manager got upset at the alleged time wasting by Gills at the time of Whelpdale's injury - ironic really when their keeper was the biggest culprit from the moment the Crawley defender got sent off.
If anyone is close to Gary Richards it would be nice to know what he said to their manager as the players came off at the end - apparently its' unprintable !
