A bit early for that yet but he does need to start showing what he can do as if monk had not scored a 90th winner last night then we would have fans who pay good money on a wet tuesday night away from home calling for his head....The jury is still out with me these last 3 games....the next 3 games will determine if he is the real deal and can hack the premiership or not......lose the next three and i will be calling for him to go....

By your standards Dai, BR should have been shown the door at Liverpool already. At least ML has won matches this season.

what has Brendan got to do with us <doh> Brendan with us showed we can compete and pass the ball against anyone. ML in the last few games including a last minute win against lower league opposition has shown he has big problems. 1) very poor passing,2) odd team selections, 3) players out of position. and unrecognizable way we are use to seeing play with confidence......Like i say lets see how our next 3 games pan out and if like some of us suspect that we will struggle then we will find us bottom of the league....I hope not but the jury is out with many including me on ML's ability as a premiership manager.....Nothing special so far only a win against qpr who are struggling and bottom of the table.....Lets see how he does before calling for his head....

And how far did Brendan get us in this competition last season. So what if he was trying players out of position!! Give the guy a break, a few weeks ago MOTD were waxing lyrical about our passing phases against West Ham, under the said manager!! The guy has a lot to learn, obviously, but I haven't heard anyone even thinking on those lines, of calling for his head!! If there was last night, are they the same muppets who booed Sinclair when he came on the pitch at QPR, or the 'feckers' who were leaving their seats at the 80th minute on Saturday??!! They are not 'fans' & I for one certainly don't want their opinion counted as 'real FANS' of Swansea City!! Or you just after something to moan about. Dai something to moan about!!! <laugh> <laugh>

Brendan would have been able to sign Michu too, eh!! <laugh>

By the way you all are mentioning Brendan all the time when Im talking about Laudrup shows that you wish he was still here..<ok> I am being honest and say that i have not seen anything special other than more forward play (and that is debatable now after the last 3 games) than what we had last season. I think we were a better team with better football under brendan, Im saying that i can understand why some fans were saying Laudrup out last night but at the same time im in the jury out brigade and see how we do in the next 3 games.....Im not over impressed so far with laudrups tacticts as where we use to dominate the ball we cant seem to string a lot of passes together now and teams are dominating us....Im willing to give him time but if we lose the next 3 games then we will be at the bottom and will struggle to get out of there.....we were lucky last night against a team that not long ago was non league and we had some good players on show last night......dont worry what Brendan is doing worry about how laudrup is doing and there is cracks appearing in his management ability...

Things are a bit out of kilter but with good reason. It's not Laudrup's fault that Chico was sent off and missed three games. It's not his fault that Taylor is out for the season. It's not his fault that Williams is playing like a prize p***k and costing us points. I had heard that Williams was one of the dissenters about Laudrup's training methods. If I didn't know better, I could swear he was deliberately playing badly to prove a point. Of course he isn't but his recent performances have stunk the place out and he shouldn't be swanning around telling us he'll consider a new contract as and when he's ready. At the moment he'll be lucky to get an offer and, if he wants one, then he'd better start playing a whole lot better than he has been.

We were very unlucky not to take 3 points off Sunderland (thank you, Mr Williams for seeing that we didn't) and actually outplayed them with 10 men - a point conceded by Martin O'Neill. Those extra 2 points would have seen us in about 6th place, or better, and it shows that the ability is there.

ML needs time for his ideas to gel with the squad and, as far as I'm concerned, the players who don't buy into it can butt out as quick as they like and take those idiot supporters who have been calling for Laudrup's head with them. We knew this season would be tough but I believe that it would have been even tougher under Rodgers. The signs were there last season in that teams had started to work us out and Rodgers seemed to have little answer other than to keep bleating that the players had been fantastic, no matter how badly they had played.

Laudrup is a lot more honest than that and I think that some of our players may resent having been told they were poor. Tough! They get paid a lot of money to do their jobs and, for a start, the defence could start doing theirs instead of relying on the midfield to do most of it for them. Mr Williams, particularly, take note. You are not earning your money right now so knuckle down and start doing it.

I dont buy into players being out because that is a cop out and a big excuse. we suppose to be a squad that laudrup has chosen himself and all must be able to play whatever side he puts out....We cant rely on just 11 players to keep us in the premiership because that just wont happen in any team let alone ours....

, I tell you what lets get shot of Mr Laudrup ,he's been a disaster since he's been here, I mean he's had to cheek to move players on ,try to change the way we play ,brought in new players who are, lets be honest Sh*te , why are we putting up with it , If I didn't have walk with a limp & suffered from gout I'd be the first to organise a protest and throw my season ticket into the Tawe

Took the words right out of my mouth Ivor, your comments are spot on as far as im concerned. People seem to have forgotton how much of a hammer blow losing Taylor was, and its going to take time to readjust the back four, injury to bartly and the suspension of chico have magnified the issues, and an aging tate and monk are limited at this level.

10 games will be time enough to judge but i think he should be cut slack with the the current injury crisis. Brenden rodgers had a lucky season RE injury,if he had the same problems as ML early on our season could have been disasterous.

Keep the faith folks, we are Swansea and fighting to stay in the premier league is where we are gonna be no matter who is manager!! it takes small steps to build at this level and its going to be mighty tough just to stay here!

I think Bolton fans would beg to differ on that one Dai, their massive injury problems got them relegated last season!

we arnt at that point yet, but we have never been great defensively unless we use our wide men and defensive midfield to sheild our back four, this is an age old problem for our team from Martinez to Sousa to Rodgers to ML, and ML is coping with injuries at the highest level, rodgers was very lucky last year IMO.

I beg to differ norway they got relegated because the whole squad was not very good...You cant just have 11 players for god sake. Cant you see how bad we have been playing and laudrups tactics leaves a lot to be desired. It has been said a few times by different posters. cant you see how our passing skill and keeping the ball has dropped significantly, cant you see how teams are scoring easy goals against us early and we go to pieces...ever crawley town for god sake were unlucky to beat us....If you cant see that our standard of play has dropped then you are blind....NOW Im not calling for laudrups head im calling for him to improve our ball control and his tactics towards the opposition......Its lacking and nowhere near as good as last season.....stop burying your head in the sand and realize we need to improve if we are to stay in the premiership with whoever he selects to play....

I see the same things Dai but there are reasons for it!! new team, new tactics the expansion of trying out a plan B and injury to key players. Im sure ML will use certain games to try to impliment different style of play, an example of this was QPR away, now i never saw you moan about us playing a less passing posession game then did i??

I think he is trying to blend in more strings to our bow, we were woefully lacking in adventure at times last season and this was one of your main gripes then!! im not saying Laudrup is amazing all im saying is that its a bit unfair to judge early on. we have more points now than we did this time last season Dai,so we may be not as lateral and posession based but we are making far more chances and scoring more goals, take out Ash williams muppet displays add chico in the mix and we are back in buisness defensivly <ok>

Havant and waterloovile Dai?? remember them? wernt we playing champagne football at the time of that humiliation?
Shrewsbury away last year? didnt we get our asses handed to us regardless of BR wonderful keep ball system?

Lets reserve judgement until at least 10 games then we will know where we are at fella <ok>

Massive, farquing massive over-reaction. So we've lost 2 games out of the 7 games we've played this season.
As for Crawley result - do you think Manchester United fans were calling for Fergies head last season when they beat them 1 nil ?

Hi mate, yeah we are back in Port Talbot now. Been home a week - and have been reminded what rain looks like every day. Hadn't seen it for 2 months before we came back. Just trying to get on with life and make it worthwhile again.
    Cheers for asking.
