    Indeed you do Warky<ok>

Mills said that Hensh and Taylor looked lively and took people on and they thought that Clarke had a very good game, correct?
oh and for me, i hardly heard Wordys name, was he annonymous?

Mick got it wrong tonight in taking off Marriott who I thought looked really lively and did very well. He should have taken off that useless Cnut Nouble <grr> <grr> sorry but I'm still really angry!!!

Henshall, Taylor and Clark looked very good especially Hensh who bombed down the wing all night but the end product was missing. Wordy wasn't very good we should have brought on Hyam Second half as our midfield was getting over run. Tabb should have been on the pitch to offer some guile in midfield. All in all a very disappointing night one that will not live long in the memory!

Nouble I'm sorry but he should never be a footballer I think he should take a job as a plasterer or something like that!

Nouble is by some distance MM biggest blind spot, just what he sees in him god only knows!

Apparently Taylor impressed but you can bet your bottom dollar he won't be given another chance yet Nouble will be given hundreds!!

It's clearly a blind spot did you hear in Micks interview when Brennar said about Nouble missing alot of chances and Mick said "Yes WE missed a few", then when Brennar asks about Taylor looking lively, Mick says 'yeah he missed that chance and should've really hit the target'.

I love a good cup run and whilst I think it is a chance to give some fringe players a chance it's nice to see us properly progress but I doubt we will really ever have a good cup run under Mick, it's never his priority, it's all about the league he's not about the glory.

There were some positives from today (youngsters getting game time etc) but I am a bit annoyed that we haven't progressed...again.
With FFP being thrown in our faces at every possible opportunity you would think that we would actually try to get further in the cups and generate some extra revenue.

This is the biggest thing i dislike about Mick, he is so bloody minded, he has his favourites and they will play no matter what!! Yet someone like Tayls can put in a good shift and he will still refuse to play them and sometimes to the detrement of the team, just because he does not like them!!
It does wind me up, i bet you would never have guessed tho!!

Very frustrating result, but promising line up. I just hope faces like Marriott, Clarke and McQueen aren't frozen out for the rest of the season. We can't let this result ruin the momentum built up through pre-season.

That's what really annoys me, idiots on TWTD who say they couldn't care less about this competition, MM never takes it seriously, yet well over 800 Town fans did take it seriously only too have two fingers stuck up in their faces by MM and the rest of the team. As for those morons on TWTD it sums them up perfectly with many of them thinking Nouble will eventually come good, FFS!

    Hi Tractor Boys,

More an observer of Not606 than a poster, but I was persuaded to go to the game last night by a good mate of mine who is an Ipswich season ticket holder (I'm a Spurs fan, as you can probably tell) and thought I would add my neutral perspective. Football is football after all and I'm always up for an away day!

Firstly, was well impressed by the away following as I always am when I go to the odd Ipswich away game with my mate. Good humour, singing and banter (particularly with the poor ball-boy in the corner!)

As for the game - Ok, it wasn't a stunner! Thought your Polish keeper looked pretty safe and made a good save at the end of the 90 minutes, Chambers was immense at the back - he looked a class above anything else on the pitch - and Berra also was pretty solid. The right-back Hewitt was dreadful in possession, and the midfield was pretty workmanlike generally - other than the lad on the left wing (Henshall?) who was at least direct and tried to take his man on. I was surprised you took Taylor off as I thought he looked lively, although he holds onto the ball for far too long at times. As for Nouble, I can tell from this thread generally that you don't need me to give my opinion on him! Emile Heskey would have been ashamed of some of the guff that he turned in... particularly when the young sub hit the bar and he followed up by somehow chesting it wide...

Anyway, I had a good night with your fans and I'm sure I'll be 'roped in' to some more games this season! So good luck - especially on the 23rd ;)

I'm pleased the youngsters got a game but based on Micks comments I'm not overly optimistic he'll give them ago. He said I'm dissapointed because the youngsters won't get another game. I like after years of our team lineups changing from game to game that Mick has some consistency in his lineups but what really annoys me is that someone can come in have a really good game but because they're not in the favoured 11 they're out the next match, it doesn't seem to give fringe players any incentive to impress!!

I hope he takes a risk on some of the youngsters though rather than playing it safe but I'm not convinced
