Leeds United boss Neil Warnock wants to sign Brighton striker Craig Mackail-Smith - in a swap for contract rebel Ross McCormack.

Warnock is keen on Scotland cap Mackail-Smith in a straight exchange for McCormack.

The Leeds striker is rated at £1.5 million and also a target for Blackburn, Wolves, Huddersfield and Crystal Palace.

The Seagulls are willing to sell Mackail-Smith, with Gus Poyet keen on the idea of replacing him with McCormack.

However his money men want a major cash adjustment.
