Well at the end of the season when we start thinking about the Good Lords next installment market forces will tell us what we have made on some of them BB! and No I`m not expecting to sell after 3 months unless of course you know someone that would want to take any off our hands for a small profit! Dicko excepted of course!
good grief Norway, you are fast becoming a broken record. When you have seen the players play and know they are reaching their full potential, you can say they are garbage, until then, you can't make sweeping statements like that, it's bonkers!
I think it is for people who watch the games to comment on individual players performances - and sadly I am no longer in that category. From what I have read here from most people who attend it is the system we are playing rather than the players that is causing disappointment - the old long ball over the top has passed its sell-by date. Aidy was caught out by that and hopefully SD will soon move away from it if that has been our problem
there was improvement on Saturday. There has been maybe 4 or 5 games this season when the team haven't looked more than reasonable. yep, i'm repeating myself, but only because you keep saying the same things!
Will go to Forest too ! and hopefully another before the season is over , I am doing my best to see live as many as I can ! but it is expensive ! bear in mind every trip for footy I do , Mrs N has a trip as well if they coincide then we get kennel fees on top! I usually find a stream to watch what happens (am signed up to so many betting companies it isnt funny , but you can normally get a stream especially away games!)
i'm not saying you have to go to all the games, i'm saying you can't comment until you've seen the players play at their full potential.
I fear that might be a very long wait! reminds me of the old stores gag! go to stores and ask for a long weight!
Have you been playing this too often Norway? http://www.discogs.com/Bleached-Black-Wrist-Slashing-Romance/release/940759
A bit harsh Norway - certainly agree that Chris I is just not up to it and signing Beattie looks like an act of desperation, but some of the others are showing signs of doing the business and they are still young and need time. Not jumping on the bash Norway bandwagon as I am with you on a lot of what you have been writing.... One thing that seems to be lost is our ability to sign quality young Prem players like Cleverly and Lansbury...I think the answer is simple, there is no way we can pay their wages..I wonder how much Lansbury is on at West Ham?
Could be a combination of both. On the plus side, Thommo is back from Brentford but it's unlikely he'll get game time with us.
i'm not so sure...Brentford wanted him to stay..i can only assume that we didn't let him stay coz we're actually going to use him!
Whe I posted the above, I hadn't seen the comment from Uwe Rosler about us giving him game time. We'll see what happens once Tiny is fit.
Latest in the Wobby; Your Vote Are you pleased with the loan signing of Craig Beattie? Yes, he is an excellent player and a welcome addition: 15% Yes, but was hoping for more to be honest: 26% Wasn't needed but will strengthen the squad: 10% No, he is not better than the strikers already here: 50%
Think your right Barry he is far too young to play for us under the present regime , Roslers comment made me chuckle!
Have to say that I'm surprised that the Wobby are doing this. CB will very likely have read this, creating the odd situation that a player will make his debut for the club knowing that probably half the people watching don't want him there - demoralising to say the least. Ah well, it'll be a test of character if nothing else.
The same thing had crossed my mind. I wonder how many of the voters can actually say that they have seen him play? The people who post on there say the first thing that comes in to their heads and just keep on repeating the same old things about how disgruntled they are.
If Thommo does get some game time he'll probably be our most creative attacking player! Certainly got forward a lot last season. We distinctly lack a creative midfielder. Forsyth and Yeates do put in the effort but rarely unlock defences (was going to say never until I saw Yeates run against Hull for the second goal). Would be interesting to see these two down the right but that would mean dropping Lloyd and, lets be honest, how likely is that?
