I suppose if you're not going to listen to the 'experts' you could listen to influencers.

Oh gawd. I do that all the time. Is it not normal?Good call I think. Until I start sliding across the lounge carpet on my ar$e.

Someone suggesting using horse de-wormer should definitely not be listened to.Who's the experts and who are the influencers I wanna know
Unless you are de-worming horses I assumeSomeone suggesting using horse de-wormer should definitely not be listened to.

As we commented on upthread. It's a bit like I was told as a kid would you put your hand in the fire if Johnny said you had to.
So listening to people just for the sake of it is a bit silly really....... part my reason for not getting the vaccination on my part.......I don't trust a word that comes of thy mouths and I've good reason to think that way from years of experience of watching them do jackshit for us...excuse the pun
As we commented on upthread.
I'm not going to try and force anyone to get the vaccine.
However, Im pointing out that people are shunning medical advice but listening to influencers.
Putting their health at risk. Not by ignoring medical guidance but by listening to people ill equiped to do so.
I also stand by the view that if you dont get jabbed you should modify your social behaviours to mitigate the risk.
If footballers dont get jabbed and take social risks and end up not being able to play, they shouldnt get paid.
As you correctly point out, the risk is personal. The risk is personal to the unvaxxed individual so what's the big deal on the paranoid minds of the vaccinated.
You carry the virus the same as me.
As you correctly point out, the risk is personal.
But if you take the risk you accept the consequences.
Dont get the jab AND fail to modify your behaviours then you accept that if you cant work (train and play) you dont get paid.
Simples.
A certain irony in you posting that Aber....talk is there is a risk from the vaccinations giving clots and heart attacks in young males......hence why they stopped giving a certain type out to the under 30s
Its a fair point sparky. How far do you go? If this happened here, there'd be civil unrest, demo marches and human rights activists storming the courthouse........

Is the talk from 'experts', 'influencers', the government or main stream media?
Didnt think you listened to any of them.
Its a fair point sparky.
Seems a bit extreme.
There is obviously some middle ground that will never be agreed on. Between the example above and the carry on as if nothing is happening extremes. Some will lean one way, others the opposite.
As Ive said repeatedly, not going to try and force or encourage anyone to do something they dont want to.I take in both sides as you should but I tend to laugh out loud at the child like news and information they give you as truth on mainstream....even watched the news podium covid questions and answer's once.......twas like watching a bad b movie the acting was so fking poor.
Do you remember Hancock crying on TV breakfast show....well if you didn't see that as it was, a complete and utter act then there's nowt I can say anymore tbh
Anyways remember the only **** on here that offered help during the first lockdown was me............and now you got people like me who are the selfish ones because I'm putting a VACCINATED person at risk by not trialling a experimental treatment that's got some major problems which mainstream don't wanna cover for you for some corporate reason.
As Ive said repeatedly, not going to try and force or encourage anyone to do something they dont want to.
Just asking people to take accountability for their decisions and actions.
