4 of us in our household - my eldest caught it last day of school - high temp and really bad cough for 3-4 days then was fine. Passed it on to me and I had the classic double jabbed symptoms - fluey feeling, dodgy gut, headaches, loss of taste and general fatigue. My youngest avoided it as did the missus and both sets of Grandparents. It's a ****ing weird virus this
LTF are a waste of time. On teh day my PCR came back positive the LTF was still saying negative Incidentally my 1st PCR was negative and it was only 2 days later when I was feeling really ropey that I went back for another one
Hmm my g'son tested positive with the swab test done at home none of the rest of us did. You really have to stick the swab right to the back of your throat and up your nose. The g'sons test we sent away did come back positive as well. Except for him none of us has felt ill or had a temperature. However I agree the test results are not 100% reliable. Also you can have the virus with no symptoms at all. As it happens I am invited to the GPS tomorrow for a flu jab... Have you read any of the anti-vaxxers comments about the Sunderland players getting their iabs... God there are a lot of ignorant idiots in the world.
