Yep, and if you get pinged by the app and told to isolate, there's no legal requirement to isolate anyway. You're only legally required to isolate if Test and Trace actually call you up and tell you to do so. In all honesty, as totally and unacceptably **** as the app is, it's also buzzing everywhere because there is just a ton of Covid left right and centre
Well I was pinged a few weeks ago. I went straight down and got tested - negative. I got tested a few days later - still negative, so I ignored the ping after that.
Covid is everywhere and we just have to get on with things. The downside to all of these people isolating is the shutting of some pubs, retail such as some Iceland stores and BP garages and shelves with small quantities on supermarket shelves due to lorry drivers self isolating. Medical experts also say that the masks that we've all been forced to wear for the last 18 months or so are a waste of time, as they don't fit to the face snugly because it's not like proper surgeons mask.
