I think those focusing on the politicians, miss where they get the advice and information from.

I think the issue with this new variant is that although it is much milder it’s also much more transmissible. So if a tenth less people get nasty symptoms but ten times the amount of people get it, then it would be same impact as the wave of delta (numbers completely made up for illustrative purposes)
Whether changes are for a pure health issue or an NHS capacity issue is another matter but I suppose are the same in the end.

    Just saying…

I've got mine. Paper version though, I don't hold with smart phones.

    Out of interest, why not?

To my mind smart phones (or hand held computers, which is what they are) are an absolute boon.

They make so many aspects of my life easier.

I'm really struggling to see any negatives.

I have worked with technology all my life so am not really impressed with it. I have a bog standard old fashioned phone with which I can call, text etc and I know how to use it with no nasty surprises. Smart phones are too ****ing smart and require far too much time to learn how to use. In my opinion they are not intuitive and nobody has written a half way decent manual to help the user. (Similar priced guitar amps come with a 50 odd page manual, even computer games have better instructions). My wife has one when I have used it, it drive me insane. Its far too twitchy, and just annoys me. So I pass. If I want to use a computer I use a tower system, with a decent size screen. I could go on, but will restrain myself.

Any venue with crowds over 10K so that includes us, obvuiosly with the take over happening you would hope we could be pushing on 15k surely ?

How this all pans out in practice is another matter, at some Epl clubs that have already being using vax pass it apperently as expected is choatic with checks often not done, at City i would expect long quees and a lot of cheesed off fans, only needs one or 2 people to start argueing the toss to hold everyone up.
