I think most people have been aware of that for a while. My point was more that people further down the tiers getting a letter, is more a sign that the system's not as structured as it perhaps should be rather than evidence that it's ahead of schedule as you appeared to think, as there are plenty in the first tier that still haven't heard anything, but as long as the jabs are being issued, it should all get to the same end. If it was structured, arguably those that have already had covid should be at the back of the queue, with the priority going to the vulnerable.
Tell her to call her surgery. She will be given an appointment. It's ok for those in that category to call.
2.4 million coronavirus vaccinations have been given so far in the UK, the figure includes 400,000 people given two jabs.
Very interesting vaccination strategy adopted in Indonesia... vaccinating the young first as they are more likely to travel and socialise... https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2021...d7yIrIOmTarUlwXpdwRKWSTaiSBW8IwLmuz1cgVuyr3Mk
we did a zoom with his 3 daughters families on xmas day and during the end he started crying and was on a downer for the next 3 hours tearful and really trashed what should have been a good piss up. daughters quietly whispering "we wont do that again" if it was a weekly occurance then maybe he wouldnt get so upset. ive never heard of those echo shows. ill look into them cheers gone for a walk but he wouldnt be able to handle anything like alexa. hes an old fool who wont listen. we arent around when he gets his weekly phone calls from his other two daughters so who knows he might be just as upset after them. he's a lonely miserable cantankerous old bloke who stopped meeting up with his friends once out of the army then got married and had a family and hasnt had one friend in 55 years. treated his wife like a dogsbody behind closed doors yet all smiles in company apart from the odd lapse. once wife was dead he then started shouting at his daughters. they soon put a stop to that. he just needed a new punch bag. we involve him in loads of family get togethers but he very rarely has anything to offer. to be fair i think vic is right maybe hes better off dead. looks like he's getting over covid too. anyone recommend a good discreet hit man?
Echo Show is exactly like Alexa I think Father in Law has one Really good for video calls and it also reminds him to take medication etc
Limited necropsies ... had Covid ... do your best. This is a joke. I’m in no way condoning murdering cantankerous old men.
I got one for my Old Dad. It links to my apple music account so he can have a listen to his old stuff. He can also call without using his phone (good in case of a fall) & we can both drop in for a video call. The pill reminders are also another benefit. A decent purchase. I bought him a motorised wheelchair before this lockdown started but have not had the chance to get it to him yet. He’ll be back to his best soon.
Maybe he regrets not making the most of his life? He doesn't sound as if he's very pleasant which is a shame for his daughters.Sad state of affairs by the sound of it.
