At the match Saturday stood in the queue at half time for the toilet. There’s a bloke in front saying “why the **** should I queue, I’ve had both vaccines” also wasn’t wearing a face mask. When pulled up about it he said “I’ve had my vaccinations so I’m not going to catch it” when questioned about passing it on he huffily put his mask on and said “satisfied now” people are bell ends. This bloke case and point! Wonder how he’d feel if he lost someone to it or caught a serious batch of it himself?
Unfortunately Marcus there's probably millions of bell ends around the country just like him, is it any wonder places like Bolton where there's a large ethnic population who aren't keen on having their jabs are now suffering from this Indian variant, you couldn't really make it up. Having dealt with the great British public all my life nothing surprises me anymore.
i had a home test last week negative because of going to the match(2 supporters near me never wore a mask the steward said nothing who was up and down the stairs), the echo today is asking supporters to test again i will i have got a load of kits sent up by my brother, never spoken to anyone not wearing a mask and will continue as the Indian variant has got into this city somehow. Will this ever go away ?. Get my 2nd jab next month thankfully.
I'd already stated it was far too much fcuk around for the cost of a ticket, that and the fact that everyman and his dog has reverted to normal jogging, will be amazed if nobody picked up da virus after last week, there was many not wearing masks, probably many followed no protocol whatsoever.
I've been busy so haven't really caught the story of this 'Indian variant'. I knew Covid was devastating India, and the surrounding area, so wondered why Brits were being allowed to fly in and out without any problem. I couldn't understand why flights weren't stopped, does anyone know the reason?
my guess is that the govt reckoned that the indian virus was only attacking Indian Indians and therefore it would be ok to allow time to get British Indians back into the UK
Boris was trying to get a trade deal before the EU so didn't want to upset the Indians who rely on travel to and from the uk
I'm sure Cummings mentioned in his grilling the other day that the government were worried about being labelled racist if the closed the borders down.
Finally got my appointment in Thailand 7th July for AZ supposedly, or coconut juice, sugar water, or anything else. Having said that, it could all change tomorrow or the next day TIT (this is Thailand). There have been so many u-turns, people generally don't know if they are coming or going. Lots of Thais won't have the vaccine because of doom and gloom stories on the news. My wife at first, said she wasn't having it, until I said she would have to find somewhere else to live. Trouble is, we have to go to covid centre (Hua Hin hospital), where they are full up with covid cases. Apparently that's what the politicians have said............. have I said before, I hate politicians with a passion!
Just thought I would say it again I’m reading all over these celebrities and there families lazing around the pools abroad
Travel plans in CHAOS as halfwits who booked a holiday abroad during a global pandemic find the virus is still going round. Duh.
Aren't they just following government advice which is what we're all supposed to do ... ... I doubt people will book any 'green light holidays' again this year tbh. I'm 65 now and have lived abroad for much of the last 20 years. But we've just returned to the UK and will probably never go abroad again, too much clart on.
