Jags win, Buccs win, Vikings are 16 points up and .... TIE. WTF. If we had lost then at least we would be sat on first pick right now, but no we had to go and tie and drop to 4th pick as it stands. I blame the Packers HC for trying to run it in when they had first and goal at about the 8 in OT. You are playing the Vikings, throw the ball our corners/LBs/safeties are useless.

To top off a great weekend, last night Vikings corner AJ Jefferson got arrested for domestic assault and has been cut.

The thing was we had both had some success with the run all game and I suspect they had that in mind. It was clear that Flynn had to come in sooner against a poor Vikings team. How it took till 8mins left in the 3rd baffles me. He had been caught up for 2 games and was ready to go! Why not start him? If he doesn't start against the lions in a must win game McCarthy wants his head reading!!

Of course. But at the top of the draft, one pick can make a world of difference. Look at 1998. We got #1, Chargers got #2. We got one of the absolute best of all time in Peyton Manning. Chargers got a drugged up loser who was out of the league in no time in Ryan Leaf. Even more recently, I'm damn sure I'd rather have Andrew Luck than Robert Griffin.

True, true. I'm just trying to be positive in regards to the draft. Either way, I think we can all rely on the Vikings to lose the majority of their remaining games.

NEXT year we're going to the Super Bowl

A couple of years ago, I struggled to decide whether I wanted Colts to lose so we could get #1, or try to win. Decided to root for losses fairly quickly - a number of Colts fans got quite angry with those who hoped to see us lose. Which would you prefer - losses or wins? Same question goes to other fans of teams near the top of the draft.
 
Actually, thinking about the story with Roy Ellison, should some sort of punishment be meted out for this ouburst by Josh Sitton, because there's a few swears in there?

It doesn't bother me too much, the officials probably get spoken to like that every week, but the players don't always get banned for it.
