Sure looks like her, but couldn't be certain. She was an older woman...but only by about 8/9 years. I was rather partial myself in those days...but she didn't come calling....fickle female....my fingers were not golden enough ! Some great versions of "Spoonful" you posted...here's another. Bruce Snr & Bruce jnr both accompanied on Leslie West's version at one time or another - just like our family act at City ! Leslie West was an act to behold (" Mountain" & "Bruce, West & Laing") - saw him about 3/4 years ago in a local Toronto club. He may have lost half a leg to diabetes, but he hasn't lost his ability to hold an audience with his brilliant guitar playing. I don't recall The Rats, must have surfaced after I emigrated to Leeds in '65 A Hull band - must have done the local scene back 'ome in Hull mainly. That clip you put up does mention the Hullabaloos, who I do remember mainly for their covers of Buddy Holly stuff. BH & the Crickets I would say were my favourite ever band, still are, god rest their souls - certainly gave me my love of music. I must try to track down some of the Hullabaloos vinyl when I'm next back home. Thanks for the memory jog Stan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hullaballoos
