Oi Benito, I'm a leftie and celebrate St George's Day. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Your mate had some Cruzcampo in Ebeneezers and didn’t rate it. Must be them not keeping it right. Had some in local rugby club and it was, to my surprise, very good.
I drink Carling or Fosters aka Skippy piss. If they keep dropping the abv off your gravy it'll soon be a unit watchers delight. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Not really. The usual sneering you get from some about him not being English whilst the same people don’t go on about their saints being from elsewhere to Irish and Scots. Or to other places which have St George as a patron saint.
Ah, Fosters. Another great British beer. Believe me, the number of pints drunk will keep up the units consumed. Aided by rum chasers.
St. George's Day trivia question about other saints. Which actress has 2 sporty Saints named after her, starred in a film about an alleged King of England & may have been related to the Thunder God ? Edit: Wrong bloody thread, dammit. Too much John Smiths obviously.
John Smiths is pretty bland ****e. About on par with worthingtons or Boddingtons and the beer equivalent of Carling or Fosters. Would still rather drink it than the majority of lagers.
European lager is quite difficult to brew as it requires consistent and very cold temperatures and traditionally it would have been fermented in underground caves. Trying to brew a good lager gave me an appreciation of them I didn't have before, as there was just so much work involved compared to other styles. Properly brewed and bottled lagers are far superior to the ones you'll find in a super market, particularly the ones in green bottles which are likely to be lightstruck and have that horrible taste a lot of people think of when they think of lager. There are no good beers that come in clear or green bottles.
Could play Tufan in a CM role alongside Morton so he's at least on the pitch, have Morton as the deeper of the two.
