Wednesday 7:45 pm they will be knackered hopefully or full of righteous indignation at been cheated and will be well up for it either way we can win 3-2 to us
They'll be up for it...Home win.. That will be a right shame, cause I can see Swansea stunning Narwich on Satdee.
We're much better than that shower they played on Sunday. However, just to be on the safe side I suggest that we don't race into a three nil lead. Bit of caution needed.
Can see their crowd being right up for it after Sunday. It might inspire the team to overcome their fatigue. Or maybe not.
Coventry is depressing. A ****house place although it does have a decent Costco & is the home of 2Tone. They ****ed up their City of Culture experience by choosing to hold it in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. Unlike us, who excelled, The Ricoh (or whatever it’s called the week) is amongst the worst of the modern day soulless arenas. They’ll make a bit of noise to start with but will pipe down early on. Half the ****ers from yesterday will still be in London the other half will be sat & silent admiring The Tigers, a real footballing team, play them off the park City 3-0 It was only Man Utd FFS
Hate their ground with a passion. Soulless, middle of nowhere bowl. My abiding memories from last season are a nagging woman screaming into the tannoy in the concourse MAKE YOUR WAY TO YOUR SEATS from about 2.15 onwards, and the ridiculous one way system up and down the stairs at half time. Glad it's midweek this season.
One abiding memory of Coventry is when we were the first team to win at their new ground, their local radio station had a tosspot on claiming we had no right to beat them and shouldn't even be on the same pitch as them. I have another from Highfield Road but not for this board, wouldn't want to trigger the pearl clutchers The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I was at Highfield road whem Waggy scored for us to win the cup tie with Chilton starting gor Coventry
Likewise. Spoke to Chris Simpkin before the game in their social club and he said he would have given anything to be back at City and playing that day.
Aye I bet you are. Oh, you're sticking to your story. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I went to the game with 2 Cov fans , city won 2:0 John Welsh brace, driving home Cov fans blaming the fact the players weren’t used to the new pitch, my Cov mates said oh yeah and Hull are lol
