that's great news and the game kick's of at 3pm not 3.30pm as some coach drivers might get stuck.

why are some of our lot papping themselves about 6000 unwashed tramps, when we'll have 40 ,000+ in the stadium to put them in their place?

Derby games these days largely consist of people gesticulating furiously at each other behind the safety of police lines.

If we win I'd happily have 20,000 in the ground to make fun of <laugh>

Until the end of time they'd claim they weren't there ...

... unlike the 20,000 who were at the Gillingham match <doh>

That's because it was Hartlepool (decent supporters) . . . . this is the skunks, who want to, and will, cause as much trouble as they can like they always want to do. Safety is definitely an issue with them :emoticon-0112-wonde

Don’t disagree on Hartlepool supporters Gordon, although pre season can sometimes be a little edgy, especially when we act billy big bollocks down there, but generally I agree they’re decent enough, and hate darlo and the mags, well the ones I know do. However the mags haven’t caused anything here for about 20yrs, they love being metroed in and marched to the sol, all of 500 yds, mouthing off and then straight back on and back to their holes. This time, given they can’t have a ticket without being on a bus the only trouble they’ll cause is damaging the sol, which the scruffy bastards always do btw, and their minging breath might damage their bus driver’s health while singing and shouting that Sunderland’s a ****hole, which is rich coming from the north easts very own Gaza.

There's a video circulating of 4 Sunderland lads in shirts being jumped by a Bristol City mob on Saturday ...

... you can't always safeguard everything. The most trouble we've had with Newcastle at the SOL was when their reserves came.

We've entered a competition where we're bound to accept visiting supporters. The only way to avoid that is switching the tie or giving them a bye.
