Wow! What a result! One can say it was lucky, against the run of play, or an “ugly win”. But I think that we were very disciplined, organised, patient and we took our chances very well. I know I’m a pedant, but why don’t they stop the clock when there’s an interruption like a crowd medical emergency? When you look at the score it says “Adomah (88)” which suggests a late winner two minutes from time, when in reality it was really a goal on 72 minutes. Misleading, if you ask me, but a pimple on an elephant’s arse in the grand order of the multiverse. Anyway, we won and i have a massive hard-on.
Can’t argue that with this. It makes sense to stop the clock when play is stopped for a non-football related incident.
Been out all day, saw HT score from our Whatsapp group and was then driving for the next hour so couldn't follow events...... Only saw final score when I got home..... Just read the whole thread and what an uplifting 20 minutes, great comments and some genuine LOL moments....... I'm just wondering if we're all in a parallel universe because this is just so weird...... As Col said, this **** just got real......... What a great club, all the way down from the top to the tea ladies....... we just have this winning mentality...... and that support........awesome....... That is a cracking 3 points and again is a statement of intent to the rest of the league....... plus we only need another 5 points to be sure of avoiding relegation...... Fantastic result today. Bloody brilliant! Another result up against it but they pulled it off yet again. Well done lads, you did the job that was needed. MW and the team will be heading home in strong spirits. Rightly so - very proud of them all. That support! WTF! Absolutely 10 out of 10!
They do it in rugby but it has been shown that if they did it for football then each half would last at least an hour!
