A draw was better than I expected - but still can't hang on to a lead I see. Ben Foster was the hero for Wrexham in the top of the table clash against Notts County. The wind was really blowing. Have a look at the net billowing before the ball went in. For a net to catch the wind like that the wind has to be up. And it was gusting, which made it even more tricky. Tough break for the kid.
The most encouraging bit in the game for me was Cov CF Györkeres and Kamara tussling after one of Györkeres’s many dives. They went forehead to forehead and Kamara was looking outmatched. In between them steps Big Wes with a “mess with my teammate and you’re messing with me!” attitude. I haven’t seen that from anyone this season. As Matej said, it’s what Troy would’ve done.
