I'm not aware that it matters why you kick or punch the ball away after play has stopped it's supposed to be a yellow every time isn't it?
The comments on RTG are incredible at times - Coventry have had one shot which they scored. But we have done nothing - we are definitely toothless up front but Flanagan had a very good chance. We have done OK apart from that horrible start
The Sunderland player could easily have been booked. The difference was the goalies anger was at the decision of the referee.
When you watch it back I think they’re identical. He was just frustrated with the situation and punched the ball away! O’Nien should’ve been booked and that challenge on Flanagan was really poor and very high. But, according to the commentary, it’s making fir a good game to watch!
Charlie Wyche is winning everything. He is enjoying a rare height advantage over the Coventry centerbacks. Lafferty will tower over them. We are basically in charge but I'm hoping to see Semenyo and Lafferty sooner rather than later. I don't think Coventry can deal with that sort of height and pace.
