This is back to my point of how we rate opposition wingers like sakamoto, Dolan. For example. They turn up dribble well most of the time create nothing and we say they’re better than Roberts

There is an interesting piece in there which may have explained how the lads were up for it last night. Didn't think much of it whilst watching the match but Hume and Mayenda both had stand up arguments with Coventry players which the podcast goes into a bit of depth about

And these were the games that some said showed RLB wasn't the man for the job, in fact the last 5 games prove he is.
I said just a few days ago that, yes I don't think the results were what he'd wanted, but they weren't important.
I believe he knew how he was going to approach the play offs. So many times this season we got the early goal, couldn't kill the game off and conceded late on.
I believe he's used these games to concentrate on sitting back and behind closed doors been working on the counter attack. It worked a treat.
Look at our possession stats last night, 26% to 74%, look at the shot stats both teams 10 with 3 on target.
There was also 3 times we broke on the counter and played the wrong ball, things could have been even more comfortable.

In our team i thought you meant in the league.

Yeah course he will be he's our winger, still **** though if we want to take things to the next level.
Compare our wingers to Gnoto and James for Leeds for example. This is where we came short this season

The feeling when we scored last night is why we do it. Special

he gambled like all good strikers and it was he knew what the defender was going to do before he did.

I mentioned this earlier in the thread but it's been buried. It's because the defender looks up for a split second at where he's planning on passing it. Mayenda is watching him, sees the glance, and is instantly on his bike. It was no fluke, he read the defender like a book

Let’s not overlook the finish as well, he has a half look where the goal is as he rounds the keeper

It’s superbly taken, the lads finishing has came on insane amounts, start of season he looked superb but couldn’t shoot for ****, now you fancy him every time.

My only concern with him is that now he is in Spain u21 side are some big ass Spanish sides going to test us for him?

The lad could genuinely be a world star with his pace, strength and running ability. He has everything g modern game looks for and he is such a magnificent scouting pickup, was barely rated in Ligue 2 somebody spotted some utterly raw attributes and took a punt.

What a performance, just ideal apart from their goal. What do we do second leg

I said this somewhere, he needs a new contract with a buyout clause, this lad could be immense

Seen a couple of these videos. Kel sounds a bit Norfolky to me. Clearly a genuine supporter though.
