Excuse the language but... Son of a whore! Lack of updates as the signal around the Ricoh is terrible. First half we were the better side, stoppage time we defended ferociously but alarm bells began as soon as two players went for the header and both missed it (seriously, just one of you make the call) and the finish was pretty good
Well I'm on holiday in Western Australia and was unable to see the Millwall game. I'm in a hotel room now so took my laptop into the toilet in the middle of the night to watch the game without waking my wife.!! As you report Woops & Lapras, a very good first half performance. Had we gone behind in the first half I would have said it was bad luck. Having survived almost 94 minutes of the second half I DID say bad luck!! But perhaps it wasn't. We controlled very little of the possession in the second half. Whilst we defended well you cannot expect to only do that for half the game and come away with a result. The manager made comments to the effect that we played well in the first half and that couldn't be expected to last. Why? I would say you couldn't expect to get anything from the game unless it did continue! We have improved in away games to the extent that we are rarely conceding early goals. But conceding late goals has become a habit and saying it is bad luck stops us from seeking a reason. However, lets put our away form to one side for now and take some positivity from our Fratton Park form going into the ever more vital Derby game!! PUP
