I watched the Preston game the other night with the Preston commentary and they kept going on about how Roberts is such a threat when he cuts in on his left and shoots. I was sat laughing, he's scored ONE from open play in the last 2 seasons and that was on the left side of the box.

I do, but it’s not my style to start calling out people for having a difference of opinion to me mate. Some are decent posters who post good stuff most of the time.

Can be tidy and immaculate but not enough bite or danger sensing awareness for me, that ball that came into him should have been hoofed the moment he didn’t control it with his chest

 

Yeah it’s just not good enough mate. He’s so frustrating because his first touch and how good he is at running with the ball is genuinely next level. I don’t understand how he can possess the ability yet lack the ability to just hit the ball when he sees the opportunity on the edge of the box. The lads around me always say “look he’s doubled up on man” - he’s not doubled up on, he’s done too much and drove into the box where you’re obviously going to run into more defenders.

I’ve mentioned it before but it’s a real shame one of Mundle or Watson can’t play the right because they’re both class. Fast, direct, love taking a shot when they create a yard of space. Full backs nightmare

Sorry, but that drag on Mayenda is a foul and borderline yellow card. Ref gives nothing. He may not catch the ball, but that doesn’t stop it being a foul
