Well, they've been given the ball more than won it. They've pressed us into mistakes.
Been allowed to foul Mayenda over and over.

We don't deserve anything from the first 45, we run at them down the wing and stop when a player is within 2 meters and instead of trying to beat them we pass the ball backwards.

Not sure Isador is the answer in a game like this, he sometimes can't get into it when we're on top.
Time to give Aleksic a go?

Nothing to lose at this point, aleksics pace can get us playing ten yards further up, I’m all for it but can’t see it happening

That lad has the potential to be anything. Any coach would be dying to work with him. Got no ceiling, 19 year old man.

Thought he would have featured a little bit more, has he played since the stoke game? We still take too long to move it around, bit of tempo would be nice. All of Coventry players have options

It's sad to see is just sit and and have zero press. Where has the press and energy gone from the start of the season ? Coventry look like us at the start of the season. We have just reverted to this sit in, counter team.

We need some midfield reinforcements...They are bossing the middle of the park... Browne and Aleskic should be considered...we look bereft of energy and ideas

I was ridiculed in January for daring to suggest there’s a fair few CM’s in the league including Matt Grimes that could do the job of Dan Neil if we were to cash in on him. Statistically all better but that means nout apparently it’s all down to the “eye test”. Well if the eye test is what matters I don’t think I’m too far wide of the mark to be honest. Coventry have a solid midfield and their best midfielder isn’t even in the squad today. They’ve totally dominated us in the middle.

Neil 66% passing accuracy and 1/6 duels won. Bellingham 62% PA and 4/7 duels won. Not good enough. Rigg 60% passing accuracy from ****ing 12 passes. Just looks lazy and sloppy.

Is there any chance of Roberts doing anything? He's a senior member of the squad, a former Champions League player, someone with a high transfer fee on his CV, won trophies and played in big games. Yet he plays like a 17 y/o making his debut. People might get annoyed that I complain about him so much but I want so much more from someone with his ability who is also probably one of our top 5 earners at the club.

We do not need more midfielders we’ve got an abundance. The problem is the stubbornness to persist with the same 3 even when they’re playing ****e.

One of the senior players in our squad and a player that our former manager plus plenty of our fans claim is the “best RW in the league”. Obviously that’s absolute nonsense but even so, to be labelled that highly you expect much much more.

Go and check the winter transfer thread, easily 5/6 regular posters who think the sun shines of Neil’s arse and their comments were harvesting likes for fun. I posted a few comments about other CM’s data compared to Neil’s and it was all nonsense apparently because the eye test shows he’s the best in the league.

I will add that I do think Neil is a good midfielder, especially at this level.. but this idea that he’s irreplaceable is just bollocks. There’s loads of decent DM’s who’ve been doing the job a lot longer that could fill in to provide some stability in that role and allow the better players in the squad to thrive imo.

Neil is a better player than grimes imo and I stand by that

but today Neil has been pitiful, our midfield is getting bossed they look half arsed
