Good defensive performance deserved a clean sheet.

4 consecutive halves of football without a goal though.

Decent point away from home (and a correct prediction for me in the prediction league :emoticon-0142-happy) but so sloppy in possession and no threat at all up top (though credit to Coventry's defenders too, they too put in a good performance).

Bit worrying with all the knocks we picked up. Really can't afford to lose O'Dowda and Alpha ...

One to forget in truth.. let's hope we can do the business away on New Year's Day :emoticon-0138-think

Bodies on the line stuff from Ng and Kipre and they deserve credit for that, but terrible negative team performance overall.

For once I thought the ref was on our side but even he couldn't make it happen for us.

A goal or two desperately needed. We're not going to get to safety on 0-0 draws.

Another set of changes in the front 4 by Huds. Sounds like it was enforced by injuries, but it doesn't help the cause. Desperately need a run of games with a settled side to build some cohesion.
I know games come thick and fast, but some of these players need time together. The players and management keep talking about 'gelling' and 'clicking', but its not going to happen without game time together. There is only so much you can do in training.

Big credit for the defensive performance but the lack of any real goal scoring threat just goes to show we are simply not good enough.

We have focused on our strikers but clearly we have little creative ability in midfield. Hardly surprising with Wintle, Ralls and Rinomata playing.

Nevertheless those 3 should be capable of winning the ball and playing in the front 3. However with Harris in the middle of the front 3 the ball is not going to stick so it comes straight back again. I appreciate the fitness problems with Robo and Etete left Hudson with no other options but this emphasises how weak we are up top.

Great to see Isaak get some game time but he is a winger or can possibly play off a central striker.

The injuries to Alfa and O'Dowda are concerning. Hopefully they will be fit for Blackburn. This shows we cannot possibly let Sang go, as rumoured yesterday, and if Bagan is fit he needs to get back in the squad ASAP as Nkounkou cannot be relied upon defensively.

I'm so confused now by what's happening, I'm going back to unconditional, blind support and rum.

The only highlight of last night was meeting up with Scull, the rest of the night was sh1t Neither side did enough to win, looks like you set up for a point and did just that, but I’m disappointed cos that’s not the Cardiff of old that used to play decent attacking footy. What’s happened to that?

Hi Robbie Losing our 2 main strikers before the game didn't help. They don't score many but what we started with last night was pretty hopeless. We can only play to the limit of our abilities and that low was pretty low last night. Overall we are happy with the point but it looks like we were lucky to get nil goals.

Going to be a long, hard second half to the season especially as our embargo means opportunities to improve the squad are limited to out of contract players, which no one else wants.

    Absolutely right
Dave Jones had forgotten more about football than Tan and the board will ever know; sucked up to nobody and wanted his teams to win games. In other words, everything that would alienate DJ from our owner and board. Since him, anyone who wasn't a sycophant has been shown the door.

Our back 5 inc keeper earned the point.
The central midfield trio was sterile and unable to keep possession or create anything.
    The attackers were non existent.
Coventry will be kicking themselves for dropping 2 points.
I doubt Blackburn will be that lax.

Allsop played like a man possessed, he never turned in a performance like that for us. First half we looked like we might get ahead but it wasn’t to be.
Have a Happy New Years, guys and best of luck.

    Hudson........

"Kion has had a spike in his intensity in game-time. He was fatigued and I don't want to put players at risk, we need him."

It might be just me, but WTF does that mean?

Haven't read or heard much about Philogene last night, but I didn't like what I watched. Lightweight and inneffective are polite adjectives.

When he had that hernia operation, did they whip his balls off as well?
