Very true Seriously though, there is a serious threat of Barca going for him despite him not being good enough imo. He is very good friends with both Neymadge (Brazil teammates) and Suarez (Liverpool obviously)
Of course, and once they **** his head up Jurgen will have to wave his magic wand and make things better.
Xavi was never a replacement for Iniesta as a) Xavi was there before him and b) both play different roles/positions. No doubt Coutinho has room for development but he stands out in a poor team atm, put him in Barcas team and he'll only get better.
Modern footballers for you, I'd take the 50 and play as it's already more than I ever dreamed of and I'm playing a sport I love.
If you have an agent to keep in the style to which they have become accustomed then things would look different.
Think some guys confused my point, which was that Cesc was seen as a long term replacement for Xavi when they signed him. My point being that it din't work out, as the idea that Coutiniho could replace Inestia might not. Xavi and Inestia were/are on a different level to Cesc and Coutiniho IMO. Absolute top top players without a doubt.
It's no coincidence that Messi's form has dipped since the Xavi/Iniesta partnership started to fade as they both aged. He don't look as good a player these days as he did when that pair where at the peak of their powers. 2 Great midfield players no doubt, who are irreplaceable. You can't just go out and buy players of that quality
