In which region our are soldiers fighting to end oppression? Once again I stand by my argument that if a war is just then indeed the soldiers fighting it are courageous beyond doubt. You initially said " I know that all wars are either political, religious or greed,or even all 3 .that, however, doesn't take away the bravery that the armed forces face every single day " This is what I am arguing about; fighting a war based on anything but improving or preserving the lives of the many is not courageous. Lets just say that in the next few years it was revealed by the 'media' that the recent wars were based soley on lies and falsehoods and the real motivation was to protect the wealth of the few and to usher in less freedom and control of the majority of the population, would you still cling to the belief that these soldiers were courageous? I won't degrade myself by stooping to name calling!
I don't want to get caught up in your private war, but from the outside it just seems like you're more or less agreeing with each other but have got bogged down in semantics. You don't have to be justified in your actions to be courageous in them. Someone could display courage in carrying out a thoroughly reprehensible act. Anyway, whatever the correct usages of the word may be, a football team turning round a 1-0 deficit ain't one of 'em.
