Worcestershire beat Hampshire by an innings and 33 runs at New Road
    Worcestershire 478 (Mitchell 206*) - Hampshire 183 (Vince 56, Smith 51*, Ajmal 5-28, Leach 4-75) and 262 (Gatting 59, Shantry 5-51)
The implications are grim for Hampshire, now cut off by 26 points at the foot of Division One, and, worse still, a team playing without conviction or confidence.

Yorkshire are looking to extend their deal with Glenn Maxwell after Aaron Finch was ruled out for the rest of the season.
Maxwell will join up with Australia A following Tuesday night's T20 Blast game with Worcestershire. Yorkshire are hopeful he will return at the end of the month to play both 50-over and County Championship cricket.
New Zealand's Kane Williamson will also join the club for the final four games of the Championship season.

Hampshire, bottom of Division One, have announced that Jimmy Adams has stepped down as captain of their Championship side to find form with the bat.
James Vince, Hampshire's one-day captain, will now take over in all competitions for the rest of the season. He succeeded Adams as captain in 50-over cricket in April and in the T20 format last year.
