Too fleeting are the proud moments, and you're talking about tiny pockets of success, the 'odd' result, not the norm. Spurs away is a laughable one to cite, by all accounts we should have been slammed 5-0 or worse, such was the balance of play, and one of your other examples was a defeat from around a year ago!! I have been disgusted with the Cardiff game, then the Sunderland game, then the Spurs game and now the Everton game. This is within the last 10 we've played, and I'm not talking about margins of error here - such as Hull at home - I am talking about utterly listless performances, devoid of confidence or ideas. I am talking about even Everton changing a couple of players between Saturday and Tuesday night - Newcastle could easily give Armstrong a run out, swap the ineffective Dummett for Haidara, maybe even give Gouffran a rest or - God forbid - give HBA a game. But no - it's a tired, worn out story of a Pardew reign and there's only so many times we can buy the "owner doesn't invest" line. People seem to somehow think it's been two YEARS since we bought anyone - it's been two WINDOWS, we had an influx of five players last January and still we don't swap players around, invest in a tactic. We had Cabaye playing deep for months until by accident he was given a bit more freedom by the inclusion of Anita AND Tiote.

Pardew is an incredibly limited manager who puts the fans through hell at the expense of his own ability to do anything. He's an embarrassment to the club in some way shape or form, either by constantly blowing smoke up Ashley's ar$e or by his inability to do anything of note on the pitch.

A bit of common sense GCB. Its always the same after a heavy defeat. To be fair some just want Pardew out full stop regardless of how well he has done. I can see some of the reasoning behind that. I too would like a change in the summer if I thought we'd invest some money and get a top manager. However top managers don't work for buttons with measily transfer budgets. They don't allow someone else to dictate their squad to them. So I@d stick until the fat man makes it worthwhile to twist.
